Workshops
In five-day workshops video artists teach basic camera and directing skills, story-telling, teamwork and how to think creatively. Each participant develops his/her own story and produces a sixty-second video that is screened at the conclusion of the workshop.
The workshops result in one-minute films that offer moving glimpses into their young makers’ lives. The stories are honest and unfiltered. Some films expose a social problem, such as the conditions at a school for blind children in Albania. Others tell the story of a personal dream, such as wishing to look after one’s family or to become a doctor in order to help others. Some of our workshops are thematic.
