The One Minutes Jr. wishes to explore new ways of exhibiting moving image. We do by working with various existing and new partners.
We promote The One Minutes Jr. videos among broadcasters and work with various partners to give the videos as much visibility as possible. The films are also screened at other exhibition venues, museums, film festivals, cinemas, art fairs, galleries and art websites, each with its own audience and reach.
Young people want and need to show and exhibit their new skills and their creative work as a form of recognition of what they have accomplished. It is also important for the audience to see the work of these youngsters and realize that young people are highly capable to address important matters whether social or political in a very personal way.
Videos produced during workshops have gone viral on social media and been screened, to great effect, at a wide range of advocacy and fundraising events. They have been shown in venues as lofty as the UN General Assembly and as humble as village schoolrooms, raising awareness, inspiring creativity and influencing decision-makers. Workshops, films and filmmakers have made the news in local, national and international media.
