TASHKENT, 28 July 2014 - 15 young people from the Uzbek capital Tashkent have come together this week to produce a series of OneMinutesJr videos in the run up to the 25th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

The UNICEF Representative in Uzbekistan, Robert Fuderich, opened the workshop this Monday morning with a clear focus on child rights and the CRC. "UNICEF has been in Uzbekistan for 20 years now and we work for every child in the country, that is everybody up to the age of 18 and that of course also includes you. So this week we want to hear from you what the young people in Uzbekistan connect with child rights and how you see your rights protected in your daily lives", the UNICEF Representative addressed the children who come from two different children's homes in Tashkent.
