The local partners from Slovenia were DZMP (Society of Allies for Soft Landing) who have several years of experience in organizing different media and image education projects for young people. The workshop was organized as camping in the nature near Kröko in South East of Slovenia.
The workshop took place in a little industrial town called Krsko. We were situated in an old hunters house somewhere in the hills surrounded with forests and a magnificent view on a nuclear plant. We were camping, cooking, playing and filming at the same place. We had one large well equipped editing room inside the house with hunter's trophies on the walls.
There were 20 youngsters (age 15 - 18) that created 13 one minute films and 2 short films during the five days of the workshop. The ideas for films were various from nightmares of guilt to portraits and some very imaginary plots like socks party, three headed translator and snails love life.
